Paul, a USPTA teaching pro, has taught tennis for over a decade -- over eleven years at the Manhattan Country Club (MCC). He specializes in juniors from racquet rookies to tournament players. Having studied under the legendary Robert Lansdorp (coach to Maria Sharapova, Pete Sampras, Lindsay Davenport, Tracy Austin and many others), Paul has passed on Lansdorp’s genius to his students -- players that ultimately achieve discipline, concentration, and confidence on and off the court. This evolves from Paul’s constant demand for precise technique. His hard working players have thrived on varsity at So Cal high schools and have achieved top USTA sectional and national rankings. He is sponsored by Völkl Tennis and Oakley.

Paul comes from a distinguished tennis family background. He 
and his brothers, Tod and Glenn, led their high school to five 
state team tennis championships in Arizona. Between the three 
they won seven straight single state titles. Sister, Lisa, also won a
state title in the girls division. Their father, Holy, lettered in tennis
at the University of Arizona. Paul’s cousins, Greg and Dari Hing, 
played for Stanford. Greg and John McEnroe were both freshmen
at Stanford the year Johnny Mac won the NCAA title. Cousin,
Roberta Hing, played for Harvard. Paul’s uncle, Bob Hing, owns the
Scottsdale Resort and Athletic Club in Arizona which was voted
one of the “Top 50 Tennis Resorts” by Tennis Magazine.

Players he has coached privately that have gone on to play high school or college tennis include Natasha Bothwell, Kady Oliker, Taylor Mahr, Madeleine Coate, Juliette Ulrich, Sydney Asher, Brian Brothers, Megan Thomas, Jack McCracken, Sean Clancy, Kelly Rethmeyer, Claire Allman, Christine Kuhns, Phillip Wagner, Brendan Loftus, Riley Loftus, Ysabella Cuevas, 
Marisa Melideo, and Ally Melideo.

Players he has coached on the Open team or Wednesday workout who are now on high school or college teams include Landon Greene, Allie Wahba, Parker Kelley, Greg Scott,
